Dan Abnett is probably the most popular and respected writer of Warhammer 40K fiction. Know No Fear is not his best work, as it is handicapped by being a Space Marine novel. Space Marines as characters are not very interesting because they have such a limited range of motivations. (Honor, loyalty, comradeship, hating the enemy, that's about it.) Abnett, however, does the best he can, and since the story makes use of his virtues as an action writer it works. The story is presented in a way that doesn't require a lot of background in Warhammer's ongoing Horus Heresy saga to understand, except for a subplot involving non-Space Marine characters that makes very little sense in isolation.
Dude! You put the book upside down in the package and the word are all garbled. This is going to take days to fix.
