OK I am not techno-geek when it comes to the Nintendo DS and unfortunately viewing items that close is no longer a viable reality without glasses...lol. The game however is a surprising bag of twists and entertainment for the kids. I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old that can work this and other games like a professional gamer. Although rated E for everyone and 10+ these two children adapted to the game in moments and were able to move from one section of the game to another with the ease of water flowing through an over-sized pipe. Even at their age they found the game exciting, amusing, and were entranced by it. Part of this might have been fueled by a recent visit to the Titanic Museum in Gatlinberg, TN which gave the game a whole new meaning to them, but mostly it was the graphics and interesting way the game was engineered which held their interest. In fact, they often argue over who gets to play it first...lol. You can't go wrong with it. It isn't just a game it is also a hand-held historical learning experience they will dive right into. ---Duke Snider-- McKee, KYRead full review
While trying to keep historic flavor (done well I think);this game is of a more difficult nature than I care to play. You have one to three choices for the character catch is you must decide the right way the character would choose. It teaches a subservant behavior for women to men and other very bad behaviors. I have spent my life doing jobs not "traditional" for women,I cannot play such a distastful character...it also within 10 mins play and another wrong choice has locked it'self into a loop and will not let me out.Short of erasing my "slight" progress I got fed up and chose another game.I got it after touring the historical Titanic exhibit.Should have saved my pennies.
It was fun to play while it lasted but the info is a little misleading. The only time your conversation choice matters is at the very end and it can end one of two ways. I beat the game in less than four hours. It was extremely disappointing since I was looking forward to playing it so much. Fun while it lasted but could have been WAY better with more effort from the creators
We have looked tfor the Titanic for some time, this one was in great condition, and just what we have looked for. Our 8 year grandaughter will be thrilled to see it. She has studied books, been on,the Titanic, and even corrected a tour guide on some of the facts. I'm sure this will most important and will hold a special place in her heart.
At first the game had me puzzled but I finally got it and enjoyed it
