This is the best spice book I've found, and I've bought about six. I could have gotten as much info. from the other six from a dictionary. This is the Holy Grail of spice books. I couldn't recommend it more. Hooyah, Jill Norman !

If you like to cook and really make flavorful dishes, this book is a very good resource for you. Anyone can cook a burger, but if you know what herbs or spices you can use in it, that can make a big difference in the flavor. Even though I've been cooking for quite a while I still find this book very helpful. I'm not sure if Jill Norman left any herbs or spices out of this book. There are things in here I have never heard about but I am looking forward to trying them.
