Hasselblad's are by far the most reliable well-made cameras in the world. You can't go wrong with a Hasselblad that's been well maintained. In the motorized line of Hasselblads I really like the ELX is not as old as the EL or ELM so it should last longer than the older ones. I got Hasselblad Body's I bought new 36 years ago that are still going strong. They are build like a tank and they are heavy. Not much plastic here. Dependable, precision instruments and reliable, a few of the words you hear that describe these cameras. Pros know that you can't beat a Hasselblad. Really the only way to truly destroy them is to drop the camera in water or on concrete. In today's digital world these cameras have been forgotten except for the professionals and amateurs who still enjoy shooting film. They do you make digital backs that can be used on the V system but if it were me I buy the H line that were made for digital use. The prices on The cameras have never been lower. You can get a body lens and back for the price of the lens only originally.Read full review

Hasselblad is an iconic name in photography, anyone lucky enough to own one will appraise you of the quality of the images, NASA thought enough of them to take them to the moon. It's not a spray and pray camera, it requires thoughtful use and a better than working knowledge of film, exposure, and composition, it's square format lending itself to great experimentation. Truly a classic.
