The best book I've seen for Robert Johnson transcriptions. That being said, I think some of the fingerings are somewhat improbable. I think it far more likely that Robert Johnson used more varied tunings less intricate fingerings. (And I'm not saying this merely because these are difficult to play - they are). Robert Johnson was a journeyman guitarist, so he would have used whatever worked. In the end, I think you have to realize two things: 1) we'll never know enough about Robert Johnson's musical technique 2) In the end you just need to play these in your own style, which is what R Johnson would have done. This book is a great source for both objectives.
Great chance to learn how he did it, not a poor copycat attempt at it. Good music, harder to play than it sounds. Well worth the price.
