I bought this mini snap shot printer about a month ago. THE GOOD: The software was simple to install and once the printer had done its thing it worked like a champ. The printer can work from your PC, i.e. print from files or you can attach your digital camera directly via the usb cable. It has an onboard lcd viewer which, although tiny, allows you to see the content of the photo. It allows you to skip the bad photos. Print quality is as good as anything I have purchased from a one hour photo shop. I was using a 5 and a 6 MP camera at the highest level and the 4X6 photos it printed were excellent. It has the capability to be portable and has the capability of adding a battery which does not come with it. It is super light weight. 4X6 quality HP Photo paper can be purchased on eBay relatively cheap. Got about 1000 sheets for around $40, and a second print cartridge for around 20... so around 30 cents a print. THE NOT SO GOOD: It feels like it is fragile with the thin plastic doors etc. So one must be careful to keep it out of the hands of little ones. It came with a single color cartridge that while it produces all the colors and black and white, it only has a few cc's of ink which ran out very quickly. I got about 25 snapshots printed. The HP97 holds about 3 times the amount of ink. The last thing is when printing from files on your computer, one must be sure to select the 335 as the printer to print from, otherwise you will be printing from your main printer. To solve this, select the 335 as the default during your print out session, but be careful to revert to your main printer after your done. ALL IN ALL: I am very satisfied. I great bargain at $43 with shipping. Surprisingly good quality prints. A little on the expensive side to print so I would reserve the use of the printer when I need a few snap shots in a hurry. I will still use on line services for the bulk of prints at about half the cost, but it sure is nice to zap off a few when you need to or want to take it with you on a trip to use directly with the camera.Read full review

The Photosmart 335 is feature rich but also easy to use. I set this printer up for a woman friend of mine. The first thing that came out of her was, "will I need a college pHD in computer science to work this thing." She was plesantly suprised to find she could print photos right off the picture card (without the computer) even after the battery on her camera had gone dead. We found the product very easy to use. Straight forward and simple, push the button and watch the picture print. It has red eye correction and brightness and sharpening correction ability as well as the chance to delete the ones you don't like. Because it's not there latest and greatest model its a bargain for the money. Be Aware it requires USB 2.0 if you connect it to your computer.
I purchased this printer as a Christmas present for my wife, it is a very nice little printer that we have thoroughly enjoyed! We really like the LCD screen that lets you view your photos before you print, and the ability to crop the photos right on printer. It is very user friendly, easy to understand, and fun to use. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and setup was a breeze. The ink refills and photo paper are available as one convenient package, and are easy to find at the local store. This printer is very portable and can be taken along almost anywhere. My wife's camera uses a SD card, and mine uses a Smartmedia card, this printer has slots for both types of cards. I didn't time exactly how many seconds it took to print a photo, but it prints very quickly and the photo quality is excellent. My wife does alot of scrapbooking, and this printer has been perfect for her projects. This printer is somewhat compact, self contained, and doesn't take up alot of space. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who is looking for an easy to use, convenient, affordable, quality photo printer.Read full review
I really love this portable photo printer. The print quality is excellent and it is so easy to use. You'd think the prints came straight from the photo shop. I would highly recommend this printer to any one who owns a digital camera who travels or who wants to print and share quickly with friends. The cost is a little higher than normal photo developing costs but the convenience is well worth it. I also love the great deal I got on this printer being the winning bidder on ebay!
