I bought this camera because of it's convenience and durability. It has several modes of taking pictures, including the macro for close up photos. It also has "on the go" mode where the camera actually takes the picture when you press the shutter button. This can be very good for taking pictures of fast moving kids, pets or objects. It doesn't smudge or smear the picture it just takes clean and neat photos. Also, it has the option to accessorize and take and print photo's on the go. Either hook it up to your HP Photosmart printer or send via wireless to any printer and print pictures instantly. This is a good option if you are out of town and out of space of your memory card and need to make more room for more photo's. It is also a good option to send to family or friends instantly and share with them the experience you are capturing. This camera is a little out of date on the megapixels, but it is a great buy for the price. It takes pics to my expectations!Read full review
I had this same camera several years ago and it was stolen. In looking for another camera I found this one on ebay. The description of the condition sounded better than the one I had before. When I received the camera it was everything I expected. It is so simple to use and the picture quality is very good. I enjoy taking pictures but have no real camera knowledge - i.e. setting, stops etc.. This is so easy I can hand it to my grandson and he's off and taking photos with my just showing him the button to push.
A little iffy purchasing a 20 year old camera basically sight unseen. Got the camera and it works great. I like these simple older cameras for carrying on motorycycle rides. I am lucky that I do not carry a cell phone, so this is my only camera.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Takes great pictures and is very easy to use, even for someone like me that doesn't know how anything about cameras or picture taking. I would not, however, use the Kodak Share software that came with it. Was not very compatable with my Vista computer and I ended up having to restore to an earlier date.
The camera will take a couple of pictures and then the batteries are drained. The view finder when taking pictures are "grainy".
