The Bench itself looks great and feels pretty solid once it is all put together. The material is as expected with the price point I paid, but it is a great addition and does not look out of place like some gun cabinets can look. Most cabinets look like a foreign object rather than an extension of a room. So the aesthetics are nice. The functionality of the bench is also above average. It will fit most shotguns, and nearly any rifle. If you have any "long" gun barrel's they may have to be stored elsewhere. I had a long barreled 12 ga that fits into the bench diagonally but not straight across. Everything else fit fine. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the directions are crap. They are good enough to get the piece assembled but lack a lot of detail and really no explanations. The last reason is because I was expecting some felt or protection in the gun cradle. Not a big deal, you can get that almost anywhere, but it would be nice if it came with a few strips so they could be installed as an option. Overall, you can not go wrong if you are looking for a place to stash a few guns and ammo without the awkwardness of a gun cabinet sticking out like a sore thumb.Read full review

Let me preface this review by saying this bench is made in China. The exterior vinyl feels cheap and is very thin. The interior is particle board with black cloth stapled over it. During assembly they did a poor job laying the black cloth and it is bunched up and loose, especially around the corners. All the hinges and screws are poor quality and I ended up using my own after I snapped two screws and bent a hinge during assembly. I do not feel comfortable storing my firearms in this as you could EASILY break into it with minimal effort. I would rate the quality of this bench below Ikea.

I was looking for a way to store a rife. a shotgun and 5 pistols in the living area where I would have reasonably quick access. I didn't want to advertise the presence for firearms like a gun case would. I don't have children and don't welcome too many guests, so a safe wasn't necessary. The bench fits perfectly behind an oversized chair and I put a blanket and a cat bed on top. My anti-gun sister didn't even know what was in the bench. The faux leather exterior is classy looking. I heeded a previous review and pre-drilled some of the holes to insure that the wood didn't split. The assembly went quickly and without a hitch as a result. The only downside is it isn't long enough to hold my 12 gauge. The interior is soft and clean with enough room for guns, ammo, cleaning kits, etc. The inside locks and you could put other things on tray if you wanted toRead full review

This isn’t really hard to build what so ever. The only problem I had when building this was with the bottom stands. The nails penetrated to the inside (you should buy smaller nails) The material it great not sure why people are complaining for something that cost $170. I store my AR-15 & my 12 gauge shotgun 18.5” barrel with some ammo. I do recommend changing the lock which is pretty cheap. Other than that I highly recommend for any gun owner!!!

It requires some assembly of the feet and lid. It arrived fine. The problem is the holes are not predrilled so the tool provided is useless. You need a drill, which was fine for me. But the quality isn't great so it's easy to split the wood if you aren't careful. Overall, it's a great bench for my needs.
