It's a story of redeeming love. Yes, there's a lot of foul language, sex and some violence but there's a love that changes a broken man and woman into a whole couple.

I was hoping to find out more about Grey's background/upbringing (which is revealed, in spurts) but mostly his one track mind is to get the girl (duh). Not nearly as hot as the story from Ana's point of view - but if there were darker (book 2) and darkest (book 3) versions from Christian Grey I'd probably buy and read them.

It is not often that you get a story from a book told from 2 perspectives as well as E L James has portrayed here. The separation of the story by writing another book strengthens the story. It made me realize how truely different Anna and Christian are. The fact they were able to stay together is simply amazing on so many levels. Many times throughout the trilogy I wondered what Christian was thinking. Now I know. Very well written.

LOVED IT! It is another book that I couldn't put down. It's a great read even if u didn't read the other GREY Books. There is a lot of sex in the book, maybe more than what was in the others in the series, but the story is so compelling that it doesn't distract from the storyline. It ended in a great spot - leaving me with wanting more.

I honestly liked this better than Anastasia's view in Fifty Shades. At the least, you should certainly read them both. It gives you a wider perspective of why the characters do what they do. It also opens up a lot more about Christian's family which is interesting. If you liked the original 3 even a small amount, definitely read this series as well.
