This item is packaged as an external speaker for devices such as mp3 players (although there is no connecting cable included), and it seems that the radio and digital clock were only an afterthought. It is somewhat difficult, using the analog dial, to pull in an AM station, and once the station is obtained, the dial tends to move slightly, knocking the station out and causing static. The digital clock is small and rather difficult to read without being close to the unit. However, the sound quality is good, particularly for a unit of this small size. Because it is reasonably priced and because of its dual duty as an external speaker as well as an AM/FM radio, I would recommend it, but if you are looking for digital accuracy in station selection, you may wish to look elsewhere.

This is my second "Camp" radio. Unlike the first one, this unit has a mild garbling from the speakers and is difficult to tune. There is no resistance to the station knob and the volume knob. Just touching either sends the stations and/or sound to extreme levels. Also, when turning the radio on or off, there is a loud "pop". I gave the radio three stars because of the low price!

This is a very stylish radio with a very good carry handle. It has an LED power light, digital station display(clock display)AM FM, line input and ear jack. Built in AC cord and front speaker. Can run on 3 C batteries, and has telescope/swivel antenna. FM stations come in fairly well, and tuning display fairly accurate. AM tuning display is not as accurate. Radio looks better than it performs. Buy it as a bargain radio. It sounds pretty good on FM and AM. Not built for durability.

Really great compact radio with easy and accurate digital tuning and display and the sound is much better than you usually have with a small radio. And at a very good price as well. I don't know how long the unit will last but right out of the box I'm more than happy with this purchase. Excellent!

What works is the FM radio band and it is fairly accurate on the digital tuning display. FM can drift from station selected. Digital clock works too, which is the same display as station. Works on 3 "C" batteries or use built in AC cord. Speaker sounds good when it works. Speaker does not work 90% of the time. You have to plug 3.5 cable in ear jack and connect other end to a bluetooth speaker that has input jack to hear radio. Radio not two years old yet. Radio has red light to show power on. Carry handle is a nice one. Radio is stylish looking, but the worst radio I have ever bought. I bought in new. What does NOT work so well is AM radio band for tuning in stations. Example: You want to listen to 1400 AM and turn tuning knob till 1400 displays. You are hearing 1310 AM at 1400. 1400 comes in around 1410 to 1420 on display. You want to listen to 1570 AM so you tune to 1570, but you hear 1530 AM station. AM tuning on digital display is accurate only from 540 AM to about 1300. 1300 to 1600 is way off on AM. Another problem is the line input jack. You may have to jiggle the 3.5 plug that you inserted in jack to hear your external music source, like a CD player for instance. Radio can also suddenly lose all volume like it was turned off while listening to an AM or FM station. To hear it when it cuts out , you have to now at present time connect earbuds to ear jack or connect 3.5 cable to ear jack and other end to Bluetooth speaker with input jack. Now you can hear the radio through external speaker. Buy it knowing that it has many flaws even if bought new, and know that in short amount of time radio will perform poorly.
