A cd that will stand the test of time. All the songs were hits. great dancers, but they weren't the real singers.....oh well! Relive a time when you thought they were! You knew every song by heart. It still has a lot of bass pumpin sound. I don't see it for sale often. No disappointments with the sound quality. And always wonder when you put the disc back in the case.....WHO WAS THE REAL SINGER?

You've gotta love it for what it is. Lets not play high-brow critics and just think back to that era of 80's and early 90', the whole feel and taste and cultural landmarks that shaped us, whether we can admit it or not (even silly stuff out there changed you). Each stage of our lives is defined by moments, not prolonged episodes. Milli Vanilli is my guilty pleasure, my slice of that time, when things were different and I, myself, was younger and different in ways that mostly forgotten now, yet they shaped me to some degree. For example, think back to your twenties something. What were your aspirations, who were your idols/role figures? No, wait, really think. Think young, can you do that for me? Not easy, is it? Okay, maybe you've got it now, one sliver of the bygone time, shining and beaconing, brings back those feelings, that thumping in your chest, yea, that's that young feeling. You gonna lose it, though. We all do. Spin that CD one more time! I don't wanna get old! I wanna feel young in my own way and thats how I do it! Just don't blame me...Read full review
Welcome back to 1989, with one of the hottest new band of the day....until their secret got out! The cover boys weren't the real singers......who really cares. It's still good music! Too bad the real singers were thought to be too undesirable to even be seen, but the sound is still Amazing! If you can overlook their spin on the cover , you'll love the music as the whole country did in 1989. After all its not like a magician doesn't do the same thing, and no one ever ended a magician career over it, so why end Milli Vanilli music over the same thing?

I know there are bound to be Milli Vanilli haters out there, but I for one own up to the fact that I still know a majority of the lyrics to this infamous album. I mean, "Blame It On The Rain" "Baby Don't Forget My Number" and "I'm Gonna Miss You" were my jams. We had this CD (or was it cassette single?) blasting out of my Chevy Beretta all through my sophomore year in high school (props to Blue Springs High School, go Wildcats!) haha. Seriously, though -- buy the album, relive the memories.
A musical feast for the senses. A great album full if great songs with deep bass and soaring highs. So what if the artist is fake which makes the album ever so more collectable.
