My wife's Glock 42 was of great disappointment to her. Accuracy was abysmal. She is an accomplished shooter so technique was not the issue. I tried to shoot it and found the trigger to be exceptionally heavy with your typical Glock hard break. The break really wasn't an issue but the pull was. There seems to be a huge variation in the trigger pulls from G42 to G42 according to the forum posters. Being that the G42 has such a short sight radius, I found that the trigger was just too heavy causing a lot of pull to the left or right as I found myself trying to compensate for the hard pull. Not good. I cannot tell you just what the pull was, but I suspect it was close to 9 pounds or more. I researched this issue and found others recommended this trigger connector on some of the Glock forums and decided to give it a try. Installation was a snap (found the youtube videos very helpful). WOW! What a difference! I believe the pull to be around 4.5 pounds now and accuracy is way better! My wife is now shooting 10 round 4" groups at 25 feet (Off-Hand Shooting) whereas before she was placing 10 round 15" groups at 25 feet (Off-Hand Shooting). Not bad for a sub-compact handgun that barely fits her hand. I can get good groups now too. Next I may invest in a couple magazine grip extenders for her so she can get her pinky finger around the grip instead of under it. Bottom line: As advertised, this trigger connector does smooth out and lighten the trigger pull. This small part made a huge difference in the ability to accurately shoot this little Glock and now she wants to keep it! My Disclaimer: While this part worked great for us, I cannot promise it will work for you. Your mileage my vary.Read full review

In all my other Glocks I used the ZEV brand connector and could feel the difference with the first pull of the trigger. The Ghost connector did nothing. Pull and reset were the same as the factory part. I ran 200 rounds through the gun to see if the part needed to "wear" in. No change. I then put the Glock factory part back in. With no net gain of any kind I would rather keep the factory part. I'll order a ZEV connector now.

This took my G42 from 6.5# trigger to under 4#. Many will argue that your CCW should have a heavy trigger but with small lightweight firearms it's not as easy to stay on target with such a heavy trigger and with a little .380 you need to make shots on target. I installed the Edge on tmy G34 & G19 and both came in at 4# pull. The Edge connector will take you to a controllable but safe pull weight. There are others on the market but anything less should be for competition use only. Many will advertise the OEM minus connector at 3.5# but it is actually a 4.5# connector, the Edge will take you slightly lower.

This connector did improve the trigger pull. My gun is still new so I don't think it is 3.5 lb as described yet. Maybe after more rounds through the gun as I have only fired it about 200 times. It is better than the factory connector as far as pull and reset is crisp. The installation is very easy as long as you get the Glock type non marring pin punch. Many videos on youtube to show how it is done. The slide lock is a bit tricky to release the front pin but pressing down on it inside the frame toward the pin will release it as you put some pressure on the pin from the left side. I do recommend this connector.

Easy to install with simple tools, easy to see videos on how to disassemble and install on you tube. Immediately felt the improvement but not as much as I was hoping for as the Glock 48 has a less than satisfactory trigger pull from the factory. As I squeeze off the rounds, I tend to shoot to the left mostly due to the size of my hand and fingers. The Ghost trigger made it better by about 50%. This appears to be about the best you can get for this model so yes, I recommend it.
