It's a great introduction and a good reference to what MATLAB can do. I got a good feel for the way MATLAB works, and even now that I have a lot of experience in MATLAB, it still serves as a good reference for several commands that I haven't seen before.

I am a computer science student. This semester I registered the data visualization class, and Matlab is the main software I need to use. It is a very good book leading you to grasp this software very well.
The book is good. I have to say that for starting with MatLab is the way to go. It had help me to have a real good understanding of what it is about and the application that we can do we it. Good for undergraduated engeneers.
