Replacement fan motor for a bath fan. Installation is easy - simply shut off the power, remove the plastic cover over the heat, fan, light or fan, light combination, unplug the fan motor, remove the retaining screw(s) holding the old motor in place and pull it out along with the fan. Remove the fan blade from the old motor shaft, clean the blades of dust deposits and reinstall the blade on the new motor. Install the fan and motor in place of the old motor and reinstall the retaining screws. Plug in the motor, turn on the power and test it's operation. If all is well, reinstall the plastic cover after cleaning it. You are done. In summary, it was easy to install, fit perfectly and runs quietly. Recommended.

This replacement motor works very well, fits perfectly, and is good in all ways, except that the shaft spins the opposite direction of the original blower! Instead of venting air out of the bathroom it sucks outside air into the bathroom. I plugged it in both possible ways, checked polarity of the device outlet... And it still spins backwards.

Arrived several days ahead of schedule. Solved my problem. Only trouble on installation was the a/c cord was slightly shorter than the original. Just turned the unit upside down and it worked perfect. Now I can vent my bathroom again. I would buy again in a second.

Plug & play! Alternative was cut out sheet rock, install blocking in attic, fight with trying to connect to existing outlet piping, drywall repair, texture, and painting!
