Give yourself about an hour to hour and a half to do this job. I was sure to clean all of the old adhesive off of the drum using a light abrasive wheel being careful not to damage the drum. Take your time and apply the glue in a small section and put the felt in place and hold for about 15 seconds, do this all of the way around the drum. Let it dry for approx 30 min and replace drum in dryer unit. New seal works great and drum is quieter and heating better. Definitely a job that most should be able to do themselves.

The part came with everything thar was needed to complete the job. The instructions on how to put the part on the rear kf the dryer drum are a bit vauge, I suggest watching some youtube videos to get an idea on how to complete the job. Other than that, my dryer works again.

Works great, fits great, and easy to install. No instructions to help you though. I have done this before so I already knew what I needed to do.

My vintage 22+ year old dryer was showing signs of wear - so I replaced the rear seal. This project requires removing the drum - but this isn't difficult. The new seal needs to be stretched on to the drum - so I recommend initially placing the seal without glue - and then remove the seal in sections, adding glue in the appropriate location as you go around the drum. Yes, the glue is included with this kit. The seal works fine - and this dryer is ready for many more years of service.
