The perfect smartphone for the technophobe in your life. They can finally text and websurf without giving up the comfort of a physical keyboard with a dedicated dial pad. The battery life could be a little longer, and it can't connected via wifi (so you'll need a data plan to access the web). But if you know someone who would like to try texting (like the rest of the free world;-) or checking their email, sports scores, or weather on the move, but touch screens make them freak, try the Palm Centro.

Where can you find a small cell phone today, like my old Nokia? If there is anyone out there that just needs the practicality of a phone with real buttons that will fit in a shirt pocket, this is it! Modern phones have lost the simple UI of the palm organizer, memos and write on screen with high resolution. Add this to your Tracfone account and you have a really cheap, effective phone. I have used Grafitti for years so don't need the keyboard, but it is cute. Bright screen, easy to sync or BU, exc spkr phone, texts, email. Web, yes, but a bit lame in today's world. Good for weather, road conditions. Hey, this is a phone, not a laptop. No wifi or bluetooth. No interface to your car? Tough, you're not supposed to talk on your phone while driving anyway. Finally a phone as simple and smaller than my cordless home phone and cheaper than a landline. Cheap accessories abound. You can see the basic kind of user I am, but for that it's great. I paid more for this, new, than I did for an LG from Freedompop and I like it better.Read full review

A good phone running Palm OS whose battery works well. I use it as a spare for times when I don't want to use my S4.

Unlocked with 128 meg of memory works great.

I love the Palm Centro phone - the features are fantastic - this was my third one. Unfortunately this was a defective phone and I had to send it back within 3 weeks. I am disappointed that this phone is discontinued and I can no longer get a truly new one that is dependable.
