As always, Gold City has turned out an amazing sounding album. The talent compiled in this one group is absolute top notch. However, they do not sound like the same Gold City that I'm used to. Their songs seem to have wandered a bit from what the group has built their name on. For example, the second song, What Children Believe, is a good song, but it does not mention God at all. I like the song, don't get me wrong, but I could so hear this song being sung by Trace Atkins or Carrie Underwood on a country radio station. I'm not disappointed in the quality of the recording at all. They have some of the tightest harmony around and they have an awesome sound. But their songs just don't "do" anything for me spiritually like they used to. In my feeble opinion, they need to get back the kind of songs like "Calvary's Hill" and "One Scarred Hand" and " Midnight Cry". Songs that lift you up. Songs that have you standing in your living room crying like a little child and havin' a good time with just you and God there in the room. I hope this review hasn't scared you away from buying this album. I'm not disappointed that I bought it, just not completely satisfied. If you're a diehard GCQT fan like me, you'll understand when you hear it.Read full review

I have always loved Gold City i am so glad i won the cd. Love the music. I would also like to say that if you like Gold City go and see them live. a cd is good but live is the best.
Great CD from one of the top Gospel groups in the country. I listen to it a lot while traveling. I have other music from this group and this was a good addition to my collection.
