Solid cheap kit
Expecting a poor quality quick fix, opened it up to find it thick plastic guides, the last china ebay kit i bought 3 years ago broke ears on the sprockets, the thin plastic guide broke into small pieces all though the engine. Side to side Cloyts and this kits black plastic is the same, same thickness, same sound... Take your time and if make sure you do it correctly the 1st time. Run the other way.
I would steer clear of this one. There are many Ecotec timing sets out there and this is one I will not order again. The top chain guide rubs the chain (the metal part) the tensioner is horrible! I threw it away and sourced one locally. To be completely honest I used the sprockets and the chain, the rest went with the local scrap guy. Do the right thing, if your sprockets are good and the guides aren't trashed buy a new chain and updated tensioner from your local auto parts store and save a few days and be able to sleep at night.I would steer clear of this one.
