First-heard album of Palmer and NO REGRETS!!!!!
REASON FOR PURCHASE? This is my first Palmer album and I bought this one specifically for the song called "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On" because this Palmer's first song I heard and became interested in him. It, also, has "Addicted To Love" that was a probably Palmer's biggest hit, I think. LIKES? This album shows Palmer's original style, I think, which is the style that I fell in love with. Just a good album. Good songs. Good lyrics. DISLIKES? A few of the songs are a little weak but respectable. Overall, 5 out of 5. I was running my own DJ company in High School when this album came out. There is obviously the "Addicted to Love" song on here that is an MTV icon video from the 80's, but the song I bought this on CD for (replacing my cassette tape) is the Mega hit, mega sampled by rap artists, "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On." I played this song recently at one of my local bars (on the on-line jukebox they have now) and every hot looking chick between the ages of 25-45 jumped up and started to dance. Then a few of them started to ask around who played this tune. It made my night when I got to make-out with this hot girl in the bathroom, while her younger sister was blowing me.
