I bought this specific GPS mostly for its MP3 player. The GPS system is easy to use and has a huge database of POI's. I used it to navigate to a few places in my home town and it performed well. Not the routes I would take but pretty quick none the less. I'm confident that it wont get me lost like other GPS systems I've used in rental cars (tomtom=blarg). I like using the Australian voices for some reason. It makes me feel like I'm in a mad max movie :P The one thing that drove me crazy was loading the SD card with music through the Device. It would not recognize the drive unless it was plugged in, loaded on "my computer" and then had to take out and put the SD card back in. It came with no instructions to perform/troubleshoot this part of the setup. I ended up crashing my PC once or twice before I got it down but now its business as usual. I paid $156 for a refurbished model and Feel like I got a good deal. If your not looking for an MP3/GPS all in one it still will satisfy either category without much compromise.Read full review
I bought a refurbished one after reading all the reviews on this Garmin. Had it for about two weeks and the lane assist would not work and it shut off a couple times while we were driving. I sent a message to the seller and was able to send it back and they sent another one. I have had this one for about 3 weeks now and have not had any problems. Although I did not have any problems from the seller I do not think I would go with refurbished again. This 755T model has a lot of cool features; like the lane assist and the speed limit in the left corner (it turns red when you go over the speed limit) I like how the picture of the signs come up before you get to the exit to show you which one to follow. I would recommend this model to anyone, but I would not recommend refurbished because it makes me leery if this Garmin will last as long as the other Garmins we have purchased in the past. This is our third Garmin we have purchased and I must say the details and features that the Garmins have are hard to beat. We have a TomTom also and do not like it as much as Garmin.Read full review
good unit, I like the fact that it plays MP 3 and audio books. I had 1 before and this seems to have the same LOW BATTERY problem all the time. Seems the battery will not charge fully. I use it on my Gold Wimg motorcycle so it is always connected to a power supply so that really doesn't matter.

Overall it is a good product. Sometimes it reminds you to turn a little late when you're on top of the intersection. But, it's features are really good.

GARMIN has discontinued the 755-- we like the features and are happy with what it has to offer- don't need a newer version with many features we would not use. So we keep purchasing them- one for each vehicle and for each motorcycle.
