Our first one lasted almost a year. Thought it was a fluke so tired another one. This one lasted a whole six months. We used it a lot, like 8-10 batches a day. It can not handle it. It is made to do 1-2 batches a day. Customer service is friendly but hard to get a hold of, they will always have to call you back.

I would have given 4 stars if cabinet was about 4 to 6 inches taller. After popping corn in the nice large kettle, I replaced a 12 ounce with this 16 ounce, it is difficult to get popcorn out as my hand hits kettle to get to popcorn. Again, a little taller cabinet would solve this. Other then that I am completely satisfied with this popper. Heats very quick, and when using a 12 oz pack of supplies I bought for 12 oz machine there is a lot less mess in cabinet after popping. I highly recommend this popper to the home owner looking for great tasting popcorn at home. Great price, good size, easy to clean and maintain
