Although I have just begun my journey into nursing, and have many more textbooks to purchase down the road, I must say that the book "Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology". by Frederic H. Martini is a wonderful book. It is a comprehensive anatomy book that come with all teh bells and whistles. If you can manage to win an auction that has the study aids there would be no doubt in my mind that you would be able to pass the class with an A. The CD-Rom that comes with the taxt (Anatomy 360) is a 3-D version with view of the anatomy at every view possible. Of couse the main reason why we buy textbooks is because we have no other choice, but with this required text, this is one you won't mind buying. Generally this text, brand new, goes for anywhere between 350.00 to 400.00. YIKES! I got lucky, I bought it via auction for 50.45. It came with everything. Mind you it was a used text, but at the price who could go wrong. I encourage students to look at auctions for textbooks, either new or used. It's a clear cut way to save that extra cash during our economy crisis.Read full review
Book is a course requirement. It was the first textbook that I purchased online. New "bundles" come with access to the online reference materials but can only be used by one user. Therefore, I had to purchase the online access at an additional fee. That was an added expense that I was not aware of.
I like the book, because I need this book to take a class. I need the book. In other page the book cost too much.
Excellent book! The details about the parts of the body was quite interesting! I was a little lost pertaining to the chapter on cells. Overall, it is a keepsake.
I don't know what to say because i ahd to buy it for my class. It's not a matter of my opinion. The inforamtions in the book is quite good, I think, and well organized.
