I didn't really know what to expect so when I got the Firestick it was really easy to use. The original software is still there so you can use it with your Amazon Account too. Simply follow the instructions normally to install it on your TV. I found that the included power adapter isn't really necessary as long as you have a powered USB Port on your TV to plug it in to. Seller includes an easy to read instruction sheet for accessing Kodi. Definitely change/update your information on the Firestick- seller has to other their info to get the Firestick updated. I did notice that if you are using the 2.4GHZ wireless on your Wireless Network it does affect the speed especially if you have COMCAST/XFinity-, or other Cable provider as they are throttling the 2.4GHZ bandwidth to 25Gbps. They are doing that to pretty much force people to upgrade or update their devices to the 5GHZ bandwidth. If you don't know for sure run a SpeedTest and find out what your download speed is- upload is not at Full Duplex so it will be slower on both bands. Recommend if you have the 5GHZ band to use that band so you can use the Firestick at the optimal speed. Yes, the Firestick has 5GHZ band! Love the Firestick. The only negative is the Kodi software- more so the providers. I would love to see providers list what language a movie is in and what subtext it uses. So many choices you will need to find out which ones provide what you are looking for. Of course you can always use Amazon for free with Prime- pay the rental fees, or purchase the movie.Read full review

I bought this for sixty dollars, and to be honest it is probably worth the money, since I refuse to pay the crazy prices that cable and direct tv charge, that being said, this device runs less than smoothly. I thought the trouble was with my internet, but have called several times and had my connection confirmed. Sometimes this device works great other times and for no reason just stops streaming. I have seen several videos about updates to download, and tips for making it run better, but have not tried them just yet, and maybe that is the problem, I just thought when I bought this it was a "plug and play" device. I guess some of the issues could be my fault, since I am not very tech savy, but have been told by several people that they have had the same issues. For sixty dollars I would say it is worth it, but honestly be ready for stream issues and some frustration.Read full review

The Good: Lots of different sports, shows, movies, and media to listen to from all over the world. SOMETIMES you can get the PPV stuff. Many different channels to choose from. Movies are available that are still in theaters. The Bad: Some of the movies are subtitled or are very poor quality. Not all PPV events are available and when they are they are not always the best quality-some guy recording the fight on his phone and burping in the background and talking to his buddies. Takes a REALLY REALLY fast wi-fi connection. Overall: I bought this specifically for UFC PPV. It's bootleg streamed. Sometimes pretty good quality and sound, sometimes not even worth watching. I've watched some movies that are still in theaters and they were good quality but Asian subtitled, not too bothersome. You can find most tv show series on it with all the seasons. Buffering is pretty commonplace. I'm not jumping for joy over the purchase but I'm okay with it.Read full review

Let's just start by saying that this isn't the ultimate entertainment solution...but it's a good buy, and well, you get what you pay for. Unless you're a hacker, it's going to take some trial and error to find which add-ons work and which don't. Navigating can be pretty slow at times and a few of the features on Kodi aren't so user friendly. But the Fire TV Stick works exactly how it's suppose to, it's the "jailbroken" part that can be kind of mehh. Yeah you can watch nearly every movie and show that's come out for FREE, you just have to sift through a bunch of trash before you find it. *If you're a computer nerd, I recommend. If you're a movie enthusiast and appreciate the quality of a movie, stick to buying blu-rays.

Well, we went through up and down with this product. You have to get used to this type of tv watching. You have to have a high quality Internet. Also, the newer the shows and movies the worse the quality, but bit older movies and shows, quality is ex excellent. We canceled cable!!!! Saving about $100 a month :) and yes there are all the shown we watch!!! Just need that high quality Internet. Overall, happy with a product, just takes patience and getting used to.
