As far as sharpness and color saturation it doesn't get any better than Velvia 50. Two things to consider: it is slow so you will find yourself frequently needing a tripod and it is fairly contrasty so this isn't the best film for harsh lighting. This is the film of choice for professional landscape photographers. Nothing can beet it for those overcast days when you need a bit more contrast and you want the colors to pop. Expose it properly and the detail will amaze!
