Chances are, you have already done your research about the various instax mini; or even compared it with polaroid options. I won't repeat what is available on all the review websites out there, but I'll comment on my personal experiences using this camera. I had originally wanted a Instax Mini 25, an older "generation" compared to this model. However I saw this available on ebay for a better deal so I nabbed this instead. Initially I thought I'd like it less and was planning to trade it for a Instax Mini 25, but when I tried it I find myself loving its sophisticated look (compared to the 25), the few additional features it has over the 25, and I decided to keep it. The mini snapshots are credit-card sized which makes them a great addition to any wallet. The filmes are by far the cheapest for all current instant film cameras, so you can splurge and indulge in your photo-taking. Yes, it's bulky compared to a digital camera, but no one who actually know what they are getting will complain about this; because this is fairly light for the current line up of film cameras. Actually I wish it was heavier because the lightness makes it feel like it's made from cheaper, not as durable plastic. Only complain I have, compared to the Instax Mini 25, is that this doesn't have a mirror that makes self-shots easier. But overall I am very happy with this purchase!Read full review
I love this camera! I also have the 7s but decided I'd upgrade because of the newer and better features. I especially like the landscape shutter button option and the self timer option. What I miss about the 7s is the auto-mode dial features. But The 50s takes great quality pictures too! I haven't yet tried the macro lens because I haven't really needed it but it is a nice little extra to have. Only downside is that the camera is that shiny black which leaves your prints all over it, but other than that, great little instant camera and a great upgrade from the 7s
Great features! There are three settings to choose from: type of exposure, flash, and landscape. There is no auto adjustment of settings, but when selected properly, the polaroid takes great pictures
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
I buy it because this camera is a lot more easier to use than any other polaroid camera I like it because it small and easy to bring same like pocket camera However, we don't know the result of the picture (good/bad) compare to another camera, this camera is more simpler than any other polaroid camera, and also there are a lot of features in it as well.
I purchased this items as a Christmas gift for my teenager. She liked it a lot and has had fun taking photos of family/friends. Not a serious camera, though. Instant print is novelty that's fun at parties, etc. Good build quality. Print quality is what you would expect (which is not much). Overall, a fun toy but not your primary camera. Some nice accessories available from overseas sellers (mini album, carry case).
