For the past 5 years I've owned a Franklin 2150. I was very satisfied with the 2150. It was accurate and reliable, and offered all of then features that I wanted, especially a good quality audio pronunciation feature. When my 2150 suddenly died, I was unable to replace it , so I decided to upgrade it and purchase a 2170. The only significant differences between the 2150 and the 2170 is that the 2170 is about an inch wider than the 2150. I also find the 2170 to be glossier, and as a result more difficult to open, and more prone to slipping and falling. Overall, the 2170 is reliable, helpful, and easy to operate. I recommend it without any reservations.

It is complicated to use but it is helpful in many ways with a lot of functions.. Like that it is pocket size.

Bought this for my daughter in 7th grade. Smaller and more convenient than a physical Spanish dictionary. She loves it.
