I purchased this cage after researching for several months. I have a 27 year old blue crowned conure, and wanted to give him more room to play and exercise. I also have two cats, so I needed a safe cage. The cage is good and sturdy, but I am a little disappointed with the clips that hold the feeding cups, so I made sure to not remove the cups from the outside by really tightening the bolts. Woody trusts me and I him, so no fear at opening the cage and changing his cups. It has plenty of room and is a little bigger than I expected. The biggest drawback is the directions to putting it together, almost non-existent. It came with pictures, but not very good ones and no identifying marks like A,B, or C on the pieces. No description of which screw, nut, or bolt to use. I was smart enough to bring up the original purchase description and pictures and then use google, which brought me to Amazon and a young lady that reviewed the cage as positive, despite her frustration with the directions and her description of how she put it together, what a lifesaver! Overall, now that it is together, it looks great and my faithful friend will love the extra room :)Read full review

First of all the instruction are vague and useless. The bars are very weak. This would not hold a large parrot (Cockatoo?McCaw/Amazon. My African Grey was able to bend the bars while climbing around in the cage within minutes of entering the cage. This cage might work for parakeets or cockatiels but nothing bigger.

The cage is huge, it's honestly way better quality than the last china one i bought by still has powder coat issues, is hard to put together, came with bent pieces, etc. Once you unbend the pieces and figure out how to put it together it's great. the bars are much thicker than my other cheap china made cage and way bigger for only like 30$ more. Overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend. My biggest complaint is the door was extremely difficult to get in and ended up denting it some because i had to hammer it in. This cage is NOT for very large birds!! Medium birds or birds that wont bite the bars vet hard!!!

The Flyline Bird Cage/Aviary is a great deal for the money. Very convenient for a small space. Fits in the corner perfectly. Made of good quality materials and is put together easily after sorting all the parts and mapping out the assembly. There are no real assembly instructions, but if you're handy you can figure it out. My birds love their new home. 5 Star Product.

I purchased this cage to replace a 10 year old, much heavier cage, for my African Grey. The instructions can be ignored. To assemble it, one sort the pieces, create separate trays of screws and fittings and then patiently dry run the assembly process. It can be completed in a leisurely 2 hours, maybe a little more. It is worth the effort and our bird responded positively to the new environment.
