The call is inadequate. It does NOT resemble a turkey. Given the price, I thought I'd try it...the fact that it is plastic, has no sound board inside, leaves it sounding more robotic or metallic. Compared to a box calls or a mouth call - the only thing this would potentially be useful for is a cluck. Possibly a rough purr, but I wouldn't hunt with it. The yelp is horrible. Overall - it's a gimmick product with a silly magnet holding the striker in the call. Instead of all of the "ciphering" on how da get da striker from fallin' out....Jethro and the team should have spent a little more time on the quality of the pot call. I spent an extra $10 and picked up a slightly more expensive glass call (wood pot, sounding board, absence of scientific, magnetic, striker assemblies) and the quality was excellent. The flextone lockdown should be just that - LOCKED DOWN. It makes an interesting coaster for setting my coffee cup on - on my desk. Aside from that - I'd have more luck calling turkeys if I scratched my A$$ as opposed to this call. It serves it's purpose - a friction call that causes users a lot of friction. GARBAGE! Very disappointing.Read full review
