Not sure how I feel about this recoil spring, it works flawlessly it eliminated the failure to eject issue. However I don't think it was intended to make it go binary. Magazines 1 & 2 fed and ran normally. Mags 3 & 4 first shot started double tapping. By mag 5 it basically went binary so I won't be carrying this as my EDC for PD, not safe. But fun for the range.

Love My Micro 9 Again!
Bought my Kimber Micro 9 used and from the start I was experiencing FTF’s and failures to return to battery. After research found it to be an early release from Kimber with weak recoil spring. Installed the Galloway Recoil spring and it’s a different pistol! 150 rds of different ammo brands, types and weights ran flawlessly! Perceived recoil is less and muzzle control is much better as well. Shoots like a Kimber is supposed to. Nice upgrade
Spring is difficult to install, but after running 100 rounds was easier to install. Of note I did have several light primer strikes with this spring. Not sure yet if this related to this spring or something else. Recoil was definitely reduced. I will continue to evaluate.

Took a little effort with the increase in spring tension when it came to getting the guide rod in. Didn't help that the ends of the spring weren't flat and smooth. Finish the edges and offer different spring rates, like maybe a 20lb. If you do that, I'd give it 5 stars.

Made it work.
Am quite happy with product. I shortened it about 3/4" Believe I now have 16-17 lb. spring which is what I WANTED. I feel 22 lb. is a bit overkill. But I feel it is going to work very well. And no one else sells recoil springs for Micro 9 (other than factory).
