I thought this was one of the most sensational cake decorating books I have ever seen. Very detailed, and was worth the wait for it coming from Australia. They certainly do have a nack for doing things with cakes, that far surpasses what we do here in the states. I would say most people in the states have never seen such interesting, beautiful, fondant, and marzipan covered cakes. They certainly do look rich, sweet, and tasty. Not the syrupy sweet cakes so often eaten over here. There are a lot of bakeries that are catching onto the European, Australian, and New Zealand type of cake decorating. The use of fondant, and marzipan gives them such a smooth, glossy appearance. I will certainly get a lot of usage from this book. And any fondant, or marzipan cakes, with your style of decorating, will be looked at by people as awesome novelties.
