First Aid is considered the staple study guide for USMLE Step 1. Everyone that I've talked to raves about it and say it's a must have for the test. I bought it to follow along with my studies even though I won't be writing the Step 1 until next summer, after my second year in medicine. The book is nicely organized and is filled with "high yield" information that is pertinent to Step 1. For the price, it's definitely a worthwhile buy. Good luck to those writing Step 1!
Thank you very much! It's essential book for those, who's preparing for USMLE exam STEP 1 I like it so much, because it's easy to use, comprehensible. It's just unputdownable one due to lots amount of useful materials. I recommend it to all who have in mind the USMLE step 1.
Other then the fact that it contains high yield material for the boards, it also talks about different books and programs that you can use to do well in usmle/comlex. It rates different books and compares them as well. In short, it tells you everything you need to do in order to take usmle.
This is a great asset for studying for the USMLE step 1. It breaks the topics down by subject as well as organ systems, and is very easy to read with a lot of great helpful pneumonics. I would definitely recommend to anybody!
Thanks -- the book was perfect! It's the main book I'm using to study for boards, wish I'd bought it earlier in the year
