I bought this as I live with neighbors all around me in a city environment. What I love is the fact that it best handles the volume vs. tone dilemma that plagues so many like me. This amp provides all the basic staples that we all need. Crisp, classic bell tones ring with such deep reverb on clean settings while very bluesy power tube break-up dials in with louder volume settings. The rack mount, stomp box inspired overdrive and compression are quality additions to the classic foundation of the Princeton itself. They compliment the original while letting the Princeton's true personality take center stage. The Attenuater is the mvp of the effects package as it lets the amp breathe as it should but at any desired volume. My only gripe is the absence of the original Princeton's Tremolo / Vibrato circuit. This feature of the original in itself was such a huge part of it's lore and has been omitted from this model. I bought this amp as a result of watching endless demos by guys that are good at music and liking what I heard. When I received this amp it lived up to all my expectations and provided me an opportunity to play without bothering anybody. This is not a main amp but a high quality studio amp that apparently records well. I do not have recording plans with it as only serves as my solution to my volume dilemma.
