This is a whole new hobby! The Metal Earth kits are challenging, fun, and fascinating. The model looks rather clunky, but it will make you want to try another one. It will fly, all the way to the floor, but probably won't break. They're made of stainless steel and quite durable. Try the painted P-51. It's incredible, a tiny little gem of a model.

You need to look closely at the instructions when putting the cockpit/intake piece on. This puzzle was a challenge which is exactly what I was looking for.
