My 10 year old daughter and I played the free version on the Internet for 60 minutes. It was GREAT! We couldn't get enough of the game, so I had to buy it!! I would recommend doing a google search and playing the free trial version first. The point of the game is like other Tycoon games...to make the most money. In this game you make potions for the villagers to buy. Your competition is a dragon who is rather cute. The game is easy enough that my daughter could play it on her own, although in order to win I helped her. This is by far one of our FAVORITE games! We played an icecream shop Tycoon, but it was rather boring compared to the Fairy God Mother game. This game has characters that you can "rent/buy" to entertain your customers. I'm unsure of how many levels there are, but you move on to a bigger village each time. We only got to the 2nd village in the hour trial, but LOVED each minute of it!! I was pretty impressed because it taught my daughter marketing skills, money management and other economic skills. I also realized that when playing with pretend money she was rather cheap and even had a hard time spending too much! It was just a ton of fun and really great for kids. One tip I would give is make sure you have enough time to really play it. I think on the real game there is a way to save your spot. The trial is short, but gives you a pretty good idea. Search "Free Fairy Godmother Tycoon" and you'll be sent to a website that has a bunch of free trials of kids and adults games. Enjoy!Read full review
Fairy Godmother Tycoon brings you through a Fairy Tale journey of potion making excitement! It has a very creative storyline that is highly amusing. The gameplay is fun, fast and exciting. Graphics are wonderful and fun. The only thing wrong is that I wish there were more levels to this game! There are only about seven levels - could have used two or three more.
This game is enjoyable and keeps you busy. If you like to get a way from the real world for for an hour or the entire afternoon, this is a good game that keeps you thinking. The levels are challenging! The Graphics are really good too. A+. If you enjoy simulation games, you will enjoy this one.
Tried this game at pogo.com and wanted to buy a hard copy. A simple, fun way to learn supply, demand, marketing, and other business topics. Easy to get lost in this game for hours.
I really like this game. Its amusing and kind of addictive. Its not a hard game though. I alsmost sat and played it from start to the finish. Plus if your a POGO player it let you build the tokens up and transfer them to your online account.
