I bought this Frampton Comes Alive CD for my 13 year old son who plays guitar. I remembered having the album when I was a girl..it was a new release back then and I loved it! Can't say that my son was as crazy about it as I was. He played it for some friends and they weren't too impressed. My son loved the voice box on the songs and the guitar solos. He appreciates Frampton's skills but it may have been better to just download a couple of the songs instead of purchasing the entire CD. For the generation of kids today this may not be the best purchase but if you are into nostalgia and want to bring back the days of your youth this CD still rocks!
I have enjoyed listing to this music for years. Wore out several 8 tracks and cassets listening to them.

This is THE consummate live album! Nothing better before or since. All live, no overdubs, excellent musicianship, great crowd participation and super clean recording make this an album with high replay value. Peter is still the amazing musician he was years ago and this album proves that he is a musical force to be reckoned with, then and now. This is musical history captured in its natural habitat. Great job on the remaster.
I was born in the 70's so by rights I should have had a copy of this floating around somewhere. I had forgotten about how good this album was until Guitar Hero 5 came out and after unlocking my achievement I decided I had to get a copy. I wanted this one in hard-copy form and not just digital, somehow it just seemed more fitting. Overall, the album is great. It is one of the few albums that you can actually listen to all the way through. Seriously, how many albums can honestly do that? (Just ask my wife who sat through it during a 3 hour drive through TN.) In any event, it is almost worth it for Do You Feel..., but there are some other great songs too. Decent driving music--a great mix of slow and fast stuff. Frampton is just...smooth.
Great price on a Great Classic recording. The quality of the re-mastered recording is pretty good considering it is a LIVE recording. The songs bring back memories of the time. Popular radio play hits on two of these songs, but if you owned the album, you listened to and loved all of them . Overall, I am very satisfied.
