    No Wonder It Was For Sale

    I can understand why the seller bought and then resold this book. It's pretty much useless. If you're interested in finding out all the nutrients in a specific fruit or veggie, this is the book for you. If you really want to know about foods that harm or foods that heal for specific conditions, look for another book. I gave to the Salvation Army.

    A true must have!

    This book gives concise, easily understood information on nutrition, especially as regards foods for those of us with various health conditions. It includes a chart on minerals and vitamins and which food contain them. It lists individual foods and their vitamin and mineral content as well as warnings for contraindications, such as high sugar, sodium, etc. Its a true must have for anyone who cooks, or eats for that matter! A word to the wise...don't let your friends borrow it, or you will find yourself on Ebay looking for another one! Somehow, this book never seems to find its way back home!

    This book is full of useful "food related" content. Most helpful for those with health issues and allergies, etc. It is relevant today as it was when this book was first published in 1997.
