BACK OF BOOK SAYS: Daisy O'Donnell dosn't get the attraction some women feel for vampires. she likes her men with a heartbeat. and she's just met one who is full of life. erik delacourt. the unreasonably sexy man she keeps meeting at a popular l.a. nightclub called the crypt she barely knows him but there is no resisting the connection she feels. There is one important detail erik hasn't gotten around to telling her yet. he's a powerful vampire out to hunt the blood thief who is draining young vampires allover the city and who has just raised the stakes by destroying one of erik's friends. It was a good and quick read. Easy to follow. So the meeting at the bar lasted a little too long. So the car ride took a long time. So the romance was there but could have used the cheryl holt or nicole jordan touch, i'd say nina bangs but she has a tendency to get a little silly. or although now that i think about it, maybe rhys could have used the christine feehan or christine warren touch also. Plus it had on of my major pet peeves, the old breaking up for your own good. and i'm sorta thinking it happened twice. technically. which always bothers me. oh and the brother alex's discriminations really bothered me too.Read full review
