I´m super satisfied with this product: the design is nice, it works wonderfully and it makes a perfect milk foam (hot or cold) and the price is more than reasonable. The only cons are that it is not super easy to clean (but is not super difficult, either, so... no big deal about this). In order to clean it properly, to rinse is not enough. With other brands as Nespresso you can only rinse it and it would be perfectly clean (of course I don´t want to pay a lot of many only because this... hehe). With Epica you need to disarm the thing and scrub with a sponge. That´s it. Also the kettle is a bit heavier than others, but that is not a big problem though. I totally recommend this product.

I use almond milk in mine. I bought this product to make hot frothy almond milk to go with my espresso. The first thing I realized, is that you do not control the amount of heat or froth you are getting. With this product, you just turn it on and wait for it to turn it off. I tried turning it off early, so I could achieve the amount of froth I like, but then the milk wasn't hot enough. What ends up happening is, the milk is so frothy, that it sits on top of the espresso instead of being immersed in it. The second thing was that if you are using it to froth milk, it will only do a surprisingly small amount, 1/3 cup. This was not disclosed when I bought it. If you want enough frothy milk for more then one serving, you have to do them separately.

This inexpensive device is amazing. The milk froths unbelievably well. I use soy milk and it makes a rich hot froth for coffee, hot chocolate or even oatmeal. I have to take a rubber spatula to scoop out the milk! I researched devices that got good reviews but most were three times the cost. Epica's Milk Frother got high marks in all the reviews and consumer reports despite the reasonable cost. It does everything it claims. The top removes from the base for easy pouring and washing. The machine is very easy to operate, to clean and it works quickly. I bought Epica Automatic Electric Milk Frother for myself but intend to get several more for gifts.
