I purchased the 19 qt Engel with rod holders based on my satisfaction with my previously purchased 13 qt Engel. Both are great coolers and also make excellent dry storage boxes. Very sturdy coolers. They are great in the field. I'm 210 lbs and can stand or sit on this cooler with no problem. I was told that these coolers will keep ice similar to a Yeti but this is not the case, and the difference in price reflects this. The Engel cooler does a great job for daily use and is built very strong with very good latches.

Small...smaller than I thought it would be. Hold a little ice for a day trip or over night trip or a few soft drinks or something maybe. Nothing heavy really as the latches don't seem to be very heavy duty. Put ice in it 3 PM on Sunday and by late on following Tuesday it was melted and cooler was kept in air conditioned travel trailer

This 19 quart Engel cooler works great on the rear rack of my Ebike. Don't expect ice retention like the thicker walled polyethylene coolers. The insulation on these is polystyrene foam also, not polyurethane foam. For my application the lighter weight is more important than longer ice retention.

Quality is cheap, handle is on backward and overall not what I hoped for. The concepts a good idea for a company like yeti who makes quality products to create. Going to sell it and I haven’t even used it but 2 times.

Great cooler/dry storage with 4 rod holders. It works as a kayak crate for me.
