I've never liked the sound of new strings, feeling that they really hit their sweet spot within a day or two of installation, only to start going dead shortly after. Ever since switching to Elixir Nano strings I've been getting the tonality I prefer right out of the box, and keeping it for months. I'm bad about changing strings regularly and these strings have kept my guitars sounding better for me and most of my friends that I've introduced them to. I originally avoided Elixir, assuming them to be a worthless gimmick, but after getting a set for my girlfriends bass and hearing how well she liked them, decided to give them a try, and have since used nothing else, both for electric and acoustic.

I have used Elixir strings since they started and always happy with the tone, comfort and string life. I have tried other brands over the years and always come back.

Elixir Strings repel the sweat and humidity that can cause corrosion of your strings and prevent you from sounding your best. So get outside and play. Elixir Strings has the longest lasting tone compared to any string, coated or uncoated. Sounds great gig after gig. Session after session.

Elixir strings in my opinion are the best string to buy Great tone and the last forever. I own 6 Guitars and my son has 2 all using Elixir strings from electric to acoustic. Mark A DAvies

I will say it's a good deal because of durability and volume sound. But it is somewhat tinny in tone, or like some like to say "bright". Great all around casual play. I would not perform serious gigs with these strings.
