This ice crusher/shaver is FANTASTIC! We LOVE it!!! Regular ice is made into "snow". We leave it out on the kitchen counter. The unit is larger than the one we had at a party minus the acrylic bow. 2 large cups of ice fills the bowl in less than a minute. I will be using it at school for reward days and fundraisers. We will definitely be using it with the grandkids all year. I definitely recommend this model. I did a lot of research before I ordered this one.

The ice shaver is exactly as described, but it is not what i needed, you failed to give it's physical dimensions, this is as large as my commercial snocone machine, I just wanted a smaller unit of the same design for my kitchen counter, I was tired of buying Walmart garbage ice shavers that last from a few weeks to a couple of months, Im 75 years old and I make a ice cube & ovaltine milk shake twice a day to take my pills, this does seem to be a good machine but I just needed one to shave three ice cubes. This snow cone maker is awesome. Just drop in some ice cubes, turn it on and a few seconds later you have shaved ice. This machine doesn't even hesitate on grinding up the ice. Shave is great but it lacks an internal stop that I can see on the push plate. Dont completely shut it or you may gring the blades off with it.I intend on drilling in a stop screw as a limiter. It is smooth and quiet .
