Comic Alfonso Zayas reprises his role as a macho bumbler in the sequel EL VECINDARO II. Zayas's best friend, played by his usual comic partner Tun-Tun, wins a fortune by betting on sporting events. With his winnings he opens a unique bar that essentially doubles as an escort service for women. Zayas, always eager to please the ladies, immediately becomes one of the café's specialized bartenders. But his visions of beautiful women and uncommitted sex quickly prove illusory when he and his co-workers have to deal with a series of drunks and other unsavory women as part of their new jobs. Like its predecessor, EL VECINDARO II deflates the overblown male ego with slapstick hijinks.
