I went from chronic heartburn and uncontrollable HBP to no heartburn the loss of 15lbs and controlling my HBP with basically just following the suggested diet!!!

The book is filled with statements that are untrue, as fact checked online. The author does not have the expertise on blood types, lectins, or nutrition to be writing such a book. Pure nutritional quackery. No different from horoscopes or the messages in the cookies given at Chinese restaurants. This is an area in which I have performed a lifetime of research at major medical schools and universities.

Every year my wife and I try to eat right so we won't gain weight as we get older but somehow its not working. Always learning something new the more we read, well I bought this book to do just that and what I learned is that what we eat affects each of us differently depending on our own blood type. That we cannot eat the same things and remain healthy, I'm an A and she's is O and so we have to eat for ourselves. We might like the same foods but what makes her body thrive will make mine sick. I also found out why we have different personalities,why some people are bold and aggressive while others are quiet more timid. Very interesting reading from start to finish and would highly reccommend it for everyone who wants to improve their health.
Although I do not agree with some of the philosophy behind this book, I do have to say, the results have been stunning. I bought this book because my husband has very high cholesterol. He has trouble taking medicines.. and wanted to change his diet, as did I, and this book seemed to really hit the mark. My husband went on the diet for his type (Type A) and his cholesterol went from 344, to 270 in one month. He is/was not overweight, and is a very active man, but his body produces cholesterol.. so to have this work in this manner so fast has been great for him. I also have been on the diet, and I have to admit, I do feel better; I was open to hear and accept the foods that were not allowed for my type...and have proceeded through the diet not 100% but in moderation. My eyes have been opened to the reasoning and results from eating the wrong types of food for your blood type and so it make sense to avoid certain things that will cause harm to you. Eat Right For Your Blood Type. I sincerely love this book. I often buy a copy to share with someone else. It has brought a great understanding to my life regarding the food choices I select or avoid. Which in turn has alleviated much of the suffering and discomfort that I had become accustomed to. This book never tells me what I can't eat. It suggest certain foods for my blood type to AVOID. So, if, I cross into the AVOID LIST, I pay the price of discomfort, continue life with the next meal. Choosing to eat or avoid what works for my blood type and body, without feeling guilty and throwing the book away, because I'VE PAID the price, DISCOMFORT. I recomend this book to everyone for the health and functioning of your body. Read it, if only YOUR BLOOD TYPE, apply its principles to your food choices. Feel better and have more energy.
