This is an early book by Dean Ornish. Today, if you are just starting to read his work, SPECTRUM, his latest, I think, recounts current knowledge. The benefits of this earlier book, in my opinion, are its recipes. It is always good to have good recipes! In EVERYDAY COOKING... recipes are arranged by Breakfasts, and Seasons, Spring, Summer.... Over half of this book consists of recipes composed by well-known chefs. Again, in my opinion,this is what makes this book valuable. The information can be found in SPECTRUM. The recipes here are really good.
