Add decades of healthy and active years to your life by using the principles in this book!!!!!
As I am watching those around me get sick and some even dieing in their 40's and 50's it frightened me so I started eating good and feeling good but now that I eat the way Joel Fuhrman teaches in his book I eat really healthy and I enjoy eating so much more and I feel terrific at 53!!

Anyone can get healthy with just some minor changes in your lifestyle.
I was really impressed with the research Joel Fuhrman put into this book. And he explains the science behind the food we ingest into an easy to read format. The recipes are a good starting point and the websites related to the book or other sites put up with vegan recipes make eating in this manner rather fail-proof. Fresh, nutritious food is so much more enjoyable than any twinkie could ever be. Ok, I don't need to pick on twinkles but, you get my point. Read the book and change your life.

This is the best 'get healthy' book on the market.
This is truly an amazing book. Very scientific and informative. I would recommend this book to anyone with any health issue. I would recommend this book to anyone who does not have health issues, but would just like to be healthier. I purchased this book after reading only the first chapter of my sister's copy. I had to have a copy for myself. The best part about it is the testimonials from people who have personally benefitted from the program. The worst part about it is that I couldn't put it down. This book is by far the best 'get healthy' book I've ever read, because it is not about dieting, it is about getting healthy. I give this book 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

After the Bible, one of the most helpful books I've ever owned.
I saw Dr. Furhman on PBS and his dietary plan made sense. I bought the book, Eat to Live, through ebay. It is jam-packed (not the best metaphor for a healthy eating book)with information and encouragement. I have been eating differently for three months now. I went back to my Dr. yesterday and he was delighted with my progress. I have lost 37lbs, no longer a concern about onset diabetes which was hovering over me, and my lipid panel is improved. I can't say this will happen for everyone, but if you give it a real honest try, the healthy eating plan will change your life.
