This book is fantastic. It starts out easier in the present tense, and gets harder as the book progresses. It's so much fun to read in a different language, and they give you a glossary in the back to help with words you may not know. Great stories, including fiction, nonfiction, and a classic novel. Excellent for building vocabulary and confidence!
This is a great book I only finished section 1-5. However I am loving it. I wouldn’t recommend it to a complete beginner of Spanish because there aren’t many translations. I’m able to read it because I have an high A2 or B1 level of spanish (I’m not really sure because I’m self learning during times of corona virus) But I’m learning new words and I’m shadowing and reading along with the audio and it’s helping me out so much

This book is easy to use with advanced beginning Spanish students. It is an inexpensive and accessible reader for the high school Spanish group I am teaching. I have been searching for used copies to use in class.
Book was in excellent condition.

The female voices are not the best role models for oral Spanish. It is evident they´re not native speakers. Their pronunciation and intonation are deficient. For example, I could not believe one of the female voices pronounces "ciudá" instead of "ciudad". Lots of non existent schwas and mispronunciations of /r/, /ll/, /y/.
