    Great can cap for my application.

    These coarse thread can caps worked excellent for my gas cans. Sizes from 1 gallon to 6 gallon cans. I no longer use pour spouts. Using the D size battery pumps from my fuel cans to tank applications. What was very important to me is the seal in the caps. Very important to keep fuels of various types as air tight as possible or they expire faster. Especially for my racing fuel.

    Not good for some old cans.

    Theses caps are only good for the older gas cans that have tall male threading of about 2 inches or taller. On the shorter threaded ones, the cap base, as you screw it down, will make contact with the gas can before the inner cap gasket can make a good seal.

    I bought a new gas can and I hated it thoroughly. It was hard to fill and even harder to pour… it’s worth the money even though it seems expensive for just a cap

    caps are made of solid high quality plastic. fits 6 gallon midwest gas can perfectly. good price for what you get. would buy more if i get more gas cans. makes it so much easier when transporting gas from station to house.
