Im generally considered an ER enthusiast. I loved Loved LOVED the first 5 seasons and liked the next few. Season 6 starts the LIKE affair with ER. With the loss of Doug Ross we get Luka Kovach who is an interesting character but no replacement for the trouble Doug used to cause. The Carol Hathaway pregnancy and subsequent having of twins away from doug was interesting but the fact she starts to have a relationship with the replacement character [luka] sort of annoyed me. Overall its a fun season to watch - didnt turn into a complete soap opera like later seasons - and most importantly it still has Mark Greene (in my opinion the highlight of the show).
This series has a good story line and a lot of action and unique ER room situations. (Not for the weak hearted as they show quite a bit of blood, etc. Also has adult situations as part of the main story line. I think this series is too intense for younger children.) I like it because it shows unique courage, realistic life choices, admittance of human error, and the vunerability of human beings, no matter their status in life. Depicts real life as it truly is, like it or not.
The first disk kept freezing, the 2nd disk did not work at all, the 4th disk did not play the last 2 episodes. I am on disk 5 and hope I can make it through disk 6. Then into the trash these go. You should check the DVDs before you sell them.

The DVD’s were listed as acceptable condition. There is something wrong with EVERY DISC for season 6. If you cannot watch any disc with a good picture, then that is NOT acceptable. Very disappointed.

I love this show, and it’s even better to me now than when I watched it on TV in the 1990’s!
