I always get a laugh from Lula and how brave she isn’t and how Stephanie always has a couple of the best lovers and built perfect men in her life, how lucky is that? Love her family and all of the adventures in life that some times their involved in. Always a great read that I can always reread.

Janet Evanovich takes the Stephanie Plum series and runs wild with it. Stephanie is as usual quirky, compassionate, funny, and exciting. Once you start reading the book, you simply cannot put it down. I look forward to seeing twelve soon. Being ripped between Ranger and Joe, the author actually makes you feel like it is you, her writing makes you elevate yourself right into Stephanies heart and mind. After reading Sue Graftons ABC series of books and loving them, I thought it would be hard to find a series comparable, but the Stephanie Plum series meets and exceeds! Stephanie Plum and Kinsey Milhoune could be long lost sisters. Simply a wonderful read, and I enjoyed it very much!
Stephanie Plum is thinking her career as fugitive apprehension agent has run its course. She's been shot at, spat at, cussed at, fire-bombed, mooned, and attacked by dogs. Time for a change, Stephanie thinks. Time to find the kind of job her mother can tell her friends about without making the sign of the cross. So Stephanie Plum quits. Resigns. No looking back. No changing her mind. She wants something safe and normal. As it turns out, jobs that are safe and normal for most people aren't necessarily safe and normal for Stephanie Plum. Trouble follows her, and the kind of trouble she had at the bail bonds office can't compare to the kind of trouble she finds herself facing now. Her past has come back to haunt her. She's stalked by a maniac returned from the grave for the sole purpose of putting her into a burial plot of her own. He's killed before, and he'll kill again if given the chance. Caught between staying far away from the bounty hunter business and staying alive, Stephanie re-examines her life and the possibility that being a bounty hunter is the solution rather than the problem. After disturbingly brief careers at the button factory, Kan Klean Dry Cleaners, and Cluck-in-a-Bucket, Stephanie takes an office position in security, working for Ranger, the sexiest, baddest, bounty hunter and businessman in two continents. It might not be the job she'll keep for the rest of her life, but for now, it gives her the technical access she needs to find her stalker. Tempers and temperatures rise as competition ratchets up between the two men in her life --her off-again, on-again boyfriend, tough Trenton cop, Joe Morelli, and her bad-ass boss, Ranger. Can Stephanie Plum take the heat? Can you? ** I have totally fallen in love with the Plum series by Janet Evanovich! For those of you have read any of the books ... Joe vs. Ranger, need I say more? For those of you who haven't, wow, it dosen't get any better than this! My favorite thing about this book? It's fun! It let's me escape my somewhat normal life and live Stephanie's for a little while. To be honest, I think that's all I could live of her life. Between the never ending car problems to people trying to kill her, she's one crazy lady and I love reading about her!Read full review
No one cannot love the characters in these books. If you aven't started with Number one in the series, grap all the boooks from 1 to 12. You can read them out of order, but it's best to just do the whole series. Wonderful charcters. I like to go to bed with a book to help go to sleep...these will not allow you to...especially if Grandma is doing one of her frequent visits for "viewing." You will find yourself absolutely laughing out loud...by yourself...at all the antics by all the characters in these books. I really recommend them if you like a little mystery, a lot of laughter, and just a good book with unforgettable characters.
After reading books eight and nine, I raced to ebay to purchase more. This was more on the side of a "good" book. However, I do love the way the author brings you back to a previous book and ties it all together. Now we know why they spent so much time at Stiva funeral home. But really, Stephanie, can you just make up your mind about the men?
