This is an awesome guitar for the 2-1/2 bills I paid for it shipped to my door! If you really know quality regarding guitar manufacturing, then you'd agree this one could easily be sold for twice as much or more. MOP inlays, bound neck, closed tuners, mahogany back and sides, and a cool stained solid spruce top, with the bat wing pick guard, and gloss finish, gives you that cool vintage vibe I'm talking about. It has a booming, deep, rich bassy tone that sustains till next week! The mids are on spot and keep up with the bass tones and compliment the trebles' silky brightness!! I can't believe it!! I like the adjustable saddle, zero fret, and dual action truss rod. Looks like ebony tuner buttons like on their 50th anniversary Rangers. Rosewood fretboard and bridge, and medium sized frets. Bolt on neck is awesome and seems to increase sustain in this case. ALL guitars need a set up when arriving new, in my opinion, especially acoustic guitars that are shipped to one's home. The bourgeois-guitar elitists, better than thow snobs out there that complain about a guitar's action not being correct in their hands upon arrival, have no regard or clue in what it takes to make a hunk of wood into a guitar! GO AWAY! It's easy to correct this minor issue, if you have it at all, with this acoustic. Raise or lower the saddle, adjust your truss rod in 1/4 inch increments left or right, or shim the bolt on neck and do all the above again. Yes, this may have to be done, and once completed, may last the rest of guitars life if properly maintained periodically. This guitar arrived in my hands almost set to go. But coming from Florida, to the southwestern US, I knew it would take a couple of weeks for the woods to adjust to humidity differences, and it did. At that point, a new set of strings were strung, and it was perfect!! For me playing rhythm, it's set perfectly. If you're a fingerstylist, you'll need to go a little lower. If you're into tapping, you can go mega-low este! But you'll need to adjust your truss rod too. Which is what you're SUPPOSED TO DO!! Thousands of u toob videos to show you how to do this! Anyway, I really like the quality and craftsmanship of this guitar! I see no flaws whatsoever. It plays great, it's fun to play, and I feel inspired while playing it. And that's the key to progression and success I guess. If you feel confident, inspired, you'll want to play more, and be more successful with your skill and artistry in playing/performing with your guitar. Good luck, and enjoy this guitar!!Read full review
